Sometime in the fall of last year, the awesome Laura Florand came to me and suggested we run a workshop at the Romance Writers with librarians and authors together discussing the benefits authors and librarians can offer each other, especially as publishing continues to change at breakneck speed. She and I are friends and we became friends after Laura did several extremely popular programs at my library on her research for her chocolate books.
Laura’s suggestion led to a round-table discussion on Librarian’s Day at RWA with authors and librarians on library programming, getting your books into library, etc. The link below will open the Powerpoint slides from the workshop, including the two pages of participant response.
